Solar stakes are one of the products of Yuandian, which uses sun rays to gather power and positioning them well will determine how well they charge and as a result they will keep on glowing the whole night. We have 23 years of solar experience and have established a better understanding on how to make your stakes work to their best of their ability in a holistic approach and how to neatly fit them into your garden.
Choose Sunny, Unobstructed Spots
The trick to the optimal amount of sunlight is to have stakes in spots that are directly exposed. Find a place in your garden, which gets 6-8hours of sun every day without shade as in by tall trees, fences or building of any kind, especially during mid-day when it is brightest. Any shade may decrease charging and, in some instances, even partial shade may greatly diminish the intensity of charging and thus it should be avoided where possible open locations such as lawn, direct flowerbeds, or southeast positions where the sun will shine are open spaces, such as lawns, unshaded flower beds, or south facing where the sun will shine.
Angle Panels Toward the Sun
Adjustable panels are a part of most solar stakes-turn them so they are in the line of the sun. The degree north of vertical: in the northern hemisphere slightly south-facing panels maximize exposure, whereas in the southern hemisphere panels facing north are better. This is a mere modification that makes panels more receptive to sunlight then store more energy to sustain the stake to gleam even after dawn.
Avoid Reflective or Heat-Trapping Surfaces
Enough sunlight is a requirement but do not put stakes on such reflective ground as white stone or metal as this may cause glare and lower the efficiency of the panels. Also, do not leave them near a heater such as a vent or near a dark asphalt, battery is sensitive to high heat levels. The stakes of Yuandian are able to deal with normal temperatures; however, an optimal location is where the light and moderate temperatures are in balance.
Adjust for Seasonal Sun Shifts
The angle of sunlight varies per season therefore remember to adjust stakes now and then. During summer when the sun is higher stakes can survive in slightly shady areas (such as under light tree covers) without getting the charge. Where the sun is low in the winter may be shifted to exposed localities to get the weaker ones. This is to make your Yuandian stakes flexible throughout the year, even during seasons when other plants are not very much productive.
Keep Paths and Growth in Mind
When trying to obtain the sunlight, do not forget about the layout of your garden. Stake positions in the pathways or close to plants that will never grow tall and cover the light-up does not need to put it in an area where shrubs or other plants will soon outgrow it in height. The stakes of Yuandian are also movable, and thus you can move them as your garden evolves yet they will remain in the bright areas and also improve your outdoor set-up.
These suggestions will make your Yuan Mexican solar stakes take maximum amount of sunlight and the result is that your garden will be a twinkling haven all the time and a sure testimony that less is more with a little planning.
